Black Ant Lake follows a middle-aged urbanite couple seeking to reconnect with each other and their past during a week in the wilderness. Their reckless efforts to reignite their youthful passions, however, abruptly transform their leisurely camping trip into a dangerous encounter with nature.  The contrast between the city and nature plays an important role in who these people were and what they’ve become.

Screenwriter Max Annis hired us to shoot a conceptual trailer to generate awareness for one of his latest scripts. BKMH lead several location scouts and decided that Minnewaska State Park in New York provided the best atmosphere for the project. Our team spent the weekend hiking through many beautiful landscapes before shooting at the waterfall.
